**CAREGIVERS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Answer call lights in a timely manner;

* Assist with meals by bringing residents into the dining room;

* Verbally cue residents requiring assistance;

* Chart any unusual incident or information needed to be passed on;

* Knowledge of proper transfer technique and body mechanics to transfer residents with appropriate assistance;

* Be responsible for the hygiene and grooming of our residents;

* Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS**:

* Well-groomed, cheerful, and enthusiastic;

* Age 18 or older;

* Enjoys working with the elderly;

* Able to perform frequent lifting or less than or equal to 50 lbs;

* Must deal with the public, visitors, and residents and in a tactful manner;

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:**

* High School graduate or equivalent GED;

* Valid First Aid and CPR certification

* Experience is a plus.
