**Warehouse/Palletizer Associate**

**445 Wilson Way City Of Industry, CA 91716**

**Position Objective:** The Warehouse/Palletizer Associate is responsible for the placement of inner cartons and master cases onto pallets. This role is also responsible for applying the appropriate labels to all boxes and master cases. The Warehouse/Palletizer Associate must also ensure all GMP and Quality standards are met and maintain the efficient flow of product through the production process.

**Duties and Responsibilities Include:**

* Labeling and boxing products

* Palletizing finished products

* Operating palletizer and pallet jacks

* Ensures trays, pallets and/or boxes are within standards

* Performs visual inspection of product ensuring quality is acceptable

* Complete the end of day reports to confirm customer orders were done accurately and accounted for before passing onto shipping department

* At end of shift, secure all equipment, perform closing duties, and complete all necessary reports

* Communicate and follow YouBars food safety commitment practices

* Other tasks as assigned by Manager

**Skills and Qualifications:**

* High School or GED minimum

* 1 or more years of food manufacturing and/or warehouse packaging experience

* Must be fast-paced and work with a sense of urgency

* Must have good communications & team-work skills.

* Must have good organization and time management skills.

* Must have an excellent record in the areas of safety, attendance, performance and discipline.

**Physical Functions:**

* *Standing:* Up to 100% of time

* *Lifting:* 4lbs to 40lbs frequently

* *Sight:* Able to operate high-speed equipment run and identify problems

* Good peripheral vision to catch problems in other areas of the line when they have trouble

* Processing of ingredients

* Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekends as required. Ability to work with food allergens: tee nuts, peanut, eggs, soy, whey, milk, fish and shellfish without incident
