Our General Managers are responsible for:

• Ensures financial performance of the community by creating, managing, and abiding by the approved budget.

• Maintains accounting compliance by overseeing community financial records. including rent receipts, petty cash disbursements, miscellaneous income and expenditures, and payroll.

• Maintains HR compliance by overseeing personnel records of all employees, including proper and complete documentation for all new hires, ongoing training documentation, performance evaluations, timely merit increases, and performance management.

• Provides the Seattle office with all necessary reports on time and in the proper format.

• Implements and enforces all policies and procedures of the Operations Manual, Food Services Manual, Team

• Member Handbook, and State Licensing Regulations.

• Provides active leadership in creating and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction in facilities, food service, activities, housekeeping, staff interactions, and resident care. Responsible for managing community to a minimum of 94% occupancy rate.

• Monitors marketing process to ensure minimum standards are met on a weekly basis.

• Monitors marketing software in conjunction with the Community Relations Director and Director of Sales to ensure marketing activities result in budgeted occupancy goal.

• Monitors and reports competitor s activities to management.

• Maintains accountability for the overall functionality of the community.

• Interacts regularly with Residents and attends resident functions.

If you are someone with:

• College degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of management experience.
• Experience managing a budget.
• Experience with decision making and problem solving.
• Able to obtain Basic First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Holds current certification as specified by state agency or ability to obtain required certification within state agency guidelines.
• Demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in both oral and written English.
